Coco Shrimp Island Passport Promotion — Official Rules

Effective date: June 1, 2016-Aug 31  |  Sponsor: Coco Shrimp (DFW locations)

No purchase necessary to receive a passport. A purchase is required to obtain location stamps and redeem rewards. Participation constitutes acceptance of these Official Rules. Void where prohibited by law.

SECTION 1 — SPONSOR

The Island Passport Promotion ("Promotion") is sponsored by Coco Shrimp ("Sponsor"), operating approximately 11 locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area. Questions may be directed to Coco Shrimp management at any participating location.

SECTION 2 — ELIGIBILITY

Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at time of participation. Employees, officers, directors, and immediate family members (spouse, parent, sibling, child) or household members of Coco Shrimp and its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, and promotion administrators are not eligible to participate.

SECTION 3 — PROMOTION PERIOD

The Promotion runs during the dates designated and announced by Sponsor at participating locations and on official Coco Shrimp marketing channels. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, extend, or terminate the Promotion at any time with reasonable notice.

SECTION 4 — HOW TO PARTICIPATE

4.1 — Obtain a passport

Participants must request an Island Passport at any participating Coco Shrimp location. Passports are available while supplies last. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged passports. Lost or damaged passports will not be replaced and previously earned stamps will not be transferred.

4.2 — Earning stamps

To earn a location stamp, a participant must purchase a Shrimp Plate or Double Taco Box at a participating Coco Shrimp location and present their passport to a team member at that location. Only one (1) stamp per location per day will be awarded. Each location may only be stamped once per passport. Stamps obtained at the same location on separate days do not count as separate location visits for milestone purposes. Stamps may not be earned using a reward redemption (including but not limited to free plate rewards earned through this Promotion). Only paid purchases qualify for stamps.

4.3 — Milestone rewards

Upon collecting the required number of unique location stamps, participants may present their passport to a team member to redeem the corresponding milestone reward. Rewards must be redeemed at a participating Coco Shrimp location. Rewards have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be combined with other offers, discounts, or promotions unless otherwise specified by Sponsor. Rewards are subject to availability and may be substituted with a reward of equal or greater value at Sponsor's discretion.

SECTION 5 — MILESTONE REWARD SCHEDULE

3 unique locations: 50% off one (1) Shrimp Plate
4 unique locations: one (1) free Shrimp Plate
5 unique locations: one (1) free Shrimp Plate and one (1) free drink
6 unique locations: two (2) free Shrimp Plates
7 unique locations: one (1) entry into the Free Shrimp Card for 1 Year Drawing
8 unique locations: one (1) entry into the Hawaii Trip Drawing

SECTION 6 — FREE SHRIMP CARD DRAWING (7-LOCATION MILESTONE)

Participants who collect stamps from seven (7) unique locations will receive one (1) entry into a random drawing for a free Shrimp Card valid for one (1) year at participating Coco Shrimp locations ("Shrimp Card Prize"). The approximate retail value of the Shrimp Card Prize will be announced by Sponsor. Winner will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Winner will be notified by Sponsor at the contact information provided upon entry. Winner must respond within seven (7) days of notification or the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. The Shrimp Card Prize is subject to the terms and conditions of the Shrimp Card program as determined by Sponsor.

SECTION 7 — HAWAII TRIP DRAWING (8-LOCATION MILESTONE) KEY LIABILITY TERMS

7.1 — Prize description

One (1) grand prize winner will receive a trip for two (2) to Hawaii consisting of: round-trip economy airfare from a major DFW-area airport (DFW or DAL) for winner and one (1) guest, and hotel accommodations for a duration to be determined by Sponsor, with a combined approximate retail value of up to $2,500 USD ("Hawaii Prize"). No other expenses are included.

7.2 — What is NOT included

The Hawaii Prize does NOT include and Sponsor is NOT responsible for: ground transportation to or from any airport; transportation within Hawaii; meals, food, or beverages; entertainment, activities, excursions, or tours; travel insurance; baggage fees or airline upgrades; hotel incidentals, room service, or resort fees; gratuities; personal expenses of any kind; or any expense not expressly listed in Section 7.1. All costs not specifically covered by the Hawaii Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner and guest.

7.3 — Travel requirements and restrictions

Winner and guest are responsible for obtaining valid government-issued photo identification required for air travel. Winner and guest are responsible for all travel arrangements beyond the provided airfare and hotel, including but not limited to inter-island travel if applicable. Travel must be completed by the date specified by Sponsor at time of prize award. Travel dates are subject to availability and must be approved by Sponsor. Travel during blackout periods (including but not limited to major holidays) may not be permitted. The Hawaii Prize is non-transferable and has no cash value. If the winner is unable to travel on the approved dates, the prize will be forfeited.

7.4 — Travel insurance

Sponsor strongly recommends that the winner and guest obtain comprehensive travel insurance, including trip cancellation, trip interruption, medical, and emergency evacuation coverage at the winner's and guest's own expense prior to travel. Sponsor is not responsible for any losses or costs resulting from trip cancellation, delays, illness, injury, or any other event affecting travel.

7.5 — Drawing and winner selection

One (1) winner will be selected by random drawing from all eligible 8-location entries at the conclusion of the Promotion period. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Winner will be notified by Sponsor at the contact information provided and must respond within seven (7) days or the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected at Sponsor's discretion. Winner may be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and, where permitted by law, a Publicity Release as a condition of receiving the prize.

SECTION 8 — LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE

By participating in this Promotion, each participant releases and holds harmless Coco Shrimp, its owners, operators, officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives (collectively "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, actions, damages, losses, costs, or expenses of any kind arising out of or in connection with: (a) participation in the Promotion; (b) acceptance, use, misuse, or inability to use any prize or prize component; (c) travel to, from, or within Hawaii or any other location in connection with the Hawaii Prize; (d) any injury, illness, accident, death, property damage, or other loss occurring during or in connection with travel or use of any prize; or (e) any act or omission of any third-party service provider including but not limited to airlines, hotels, ground transportation providers, or tour operators. Released Parties are not responsible for any typographical or printing errors in Promotion materials.

SECTION 9 — GENERAL CONDITIONS

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who tampers with the Promotion, violates these Official Rules, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Promotion at any time. All decisions made by Sponsor are final and binding. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash. Taxes on prizes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner. This Promotion is governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Tarrant County, Texas.

SECTION 10 — PRIVACY

Personal information collected in connection with this Promotion will be used solely to administer the Promotion and contact potential winners. Sponsor will not sell or share participant personal information with unaffiliated third parties except as required to administer the Promotion or as required by law.

Note: Sponsor recommends consulting a licensed Texas attorney to review these rules prior to launch, particularly if the Promotion will be promoted on social media platforms (which may have their own contest rules) or if prizes exceed applicable thresholds that trigger state raffle or lottery regulations.
